HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Bernadette Perron Kenney, 84, of Laurel, Miss., died Friday, Oct. 10, in Hattiesburg, Miss.
She was born in Chisholm on Dec. 7, 1929, a daughter of Origene and Lorette (Charest) Perron. She was educated in Lewiston and graduated from St. Dominic Regional High School. In her teens, she was employed at Hood’s Mailing and later at the Androscoggin Registry of Deeds.
Her greatest pleasure was performing in many programs with the Figure Skating Club at the Lewiston arena.
In 1972, she married Roland Kenney. They moved to Laurel, Miss., and she enjoyed working as a librarian.
Survivors include one brother, Richard W. Perron and wife, Therese, of Lewiston; a special nephew, Brian Kenney, of Mississippi; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and husband.
