In a letter to the editor (Oct. 6), Rep. Gary Knight accused Sen. John Patrick of making various ridiculous statements, given that Patrick is known for being one of the hardest campaigners in the whole state of Maine.
Knight also forgot to mention that he is the Republican Senate candidate’s treasurer.
Shame on Knight for trying to tarnish the reputation of a great man.
Of course, Patrick is visiting doors throughout his district again this year. And when he comes to their doors, voters in Senate District 18 will see a trustworthy, caring man with common sense; a man who I respect.
I will cast my vote for a man who has honesty, integrity and experience and who is a champion for all working men and women.
I will cast my vote to re-elect Sen. John Patrick.
