Those of us who live in the (former) 87th House District (now District 74) have been fortunate to have the services of Rep. Paul Gilbert in the Maine House.
Throughout his professional life and in his six years in the State House, Gilbert has stood for the issues that affect working people most deeply. Of greatest importance to me, he has been a consistent and strong supporter of the health care issues that are vital to Maine.
I have had the privilege of knowing him personally as well as professionally and what impresses me most about him is that there is no “other side” to him. He is as concerned in his private conversations about the public good and doing right by his constituents as he is in his public statements and work.
Paul Gilbert is a committed public servant of deep integrity who deserves re-election.
