FARMINGTON — Police said a Sandy River Plantation woman is accused of stealing about $800 worth of items from a Temple residence.
Jennifer Clifford, 28, was issued a summons Tuesday on two misdemeanor charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violation of condition of release, Franklin County sheriff’s Lt. David St. Laurent said Thursday.
Clifford had visited a family she knew in Temple earlier this month. About 1½ weeks later, the family noticed several items missing, he said.
St. Laurent said Clifford admitted to taking the items valued at about $800. Two of the items have been recovered.
The violation of condition of release charge stems from Clifford being on an agreement that deferred sentencing on a prior theft charge, he said.
Clifford is scheduled to appear in a Farmington court on Dec. 2.
