The Penobscot Mineral and Lapidary Club will hold its 10th Annual Gem and Mineral Show on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 1-2 ,at the Brewer Auditorium on Wilson Street. On Nov. 1, the show will run from 10 a.m.-5p.m.; On Sunday, Nov. 2 the show will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
The Penobscot Mineral and Lapidary Club is based in Milford. This is the only mineral show held in the Bangor-Brewer-Old Town-Orono-Hampden area. There will be approximately twenty vendors selling rocks, mineral specimens, gemstones, beads, gold and silver jewelry, mining cups and other related products. Some of the vendors feature special and unique Maine minerals, jewelry and products.
The show also features a silent auction every hour, door prizes throughout each day, as well as, a raffle for a Maine Watermelon Tourmaline Pendant. Food and refreshments, including hot dogs, will be available at the concession stand throughout the day on both days.
