I am writing in strong support of Elliott Epstein, Esq., a candidate for judge of probate of Androscoggin County.
I have known him as my personal friend and attorney since 1983 and know him to be an individual of outstanding character and professional competence. He is admitted to practice in Maine and Massachusetts state courts, the U.S. District Court for Maine and the U.S. Supreme Court.
As a native of Androscoggin County, my connection to its communities’ social, cultural and political needs is intimate. My late father served as editorial writer for the Sun Journal for 44 years, and my late mother served as co-director of Androscoggin County Head Start and Family Day Care for more than 22 years.
Having lived and worked in Lewiston-Auburn myself for many years, I can enthusiastically say that no one could be more ideally qualified for the position of judge of probate than Elliott Epstein.
