This includes the municipalities of Andover, Roxbury, Upton, Wilsons Mills, Coburn Gore, Rangeley, Kingfield, Bingham, Jackman, Rumford, Norway, Fryeburg, Oxford, Farmington, Wilton, Bridgton, Lewiston-Auburn and Livermore Falls.
NWS expects 2 to 4 inches of rain in those areas but more than 5 inches is possible Wednesday and Thursday. This will not be enough to create flash flooding but the cumulative effect could raise some river levels to flood stage. The watch could be extended to Friday morning.
A flood watch means there is a potential for flooding based upon current forecasts.
