Eugenia M. Dixon, 92, of Meadow Lane, Auburn, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, with her loving family at her side.

She was born in Skowhegan, on Feb. 16, 1922, a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Provencal) Beaulieu. She graduated from Portland High School. Eugenia married her true love, John L. Dixon, in February 1945; he predeceased her in June 1999.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the Golden Age Club, where she worked in the kitchen for over 20 years, Robin Dow and First Auburn Seniors.

She enjoyed spending time with family and being at the family camp at Sheepscot Lake.

Eugenia is survived by two daughters, Charlene Dixon of Auburn and Marie Samson of Auburn; three sons, Richard Dixon of Gray, Jon Sherman Dixon and his wife, Elizabeth, of Renton, Wash. and David Page of Windham; four grandchildren, Amanda Rodriguez of Auburn, John D. Samson of Auburn, Joey Dixon of Renton, Wash., and Elna Rochlin of Bellevue, Wash.; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Elise Libby; and a brother, Sherman Beaulieu.
