1935 – 2014
HURST, Texas—U.S. Air Force retired Maj. Jack H. Sloan gave up his battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on Saturday, Oct. 18.
He was born on June 6, 1935, in Chicago, to Harold and Margaret Sloan, who predeceased him.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda C. Sloan; daughters, Pat and Darrell James and Donna (Briggs) and Chuck Smith; grandchildren, Jeremy Patten, Jennifer James and Jared James.
He was a navigator flying a KC-135. We miss him already, but are sure he is in Heaven telling his war stories and playing his favorite game of golf.
