I am writing in support of Ray Lafrance for Androscoggin County sheriff.
I have been in law enforcement 28 years. I do not lightly give my support to candidates. I support Lafrance. I know he is the right person for this job.
He has been Patrol Division captain for 28 years. He heads dispatch. He is public safety director. He is an integral part of the department. That experience is critical in these times. He knows what is important.
He knows, as a taxpayer, that the sheriff’s office must live within a reasonable budget and, at the same time, provide protection to the citizens.
He can do both. His years of loyalty to the department and the county, when coupled with his skill and knowledge, make him the best candidate for sheriff.
He is running as an independent.
I, as a Republican, will vote for Ray Lafrance for sheriff.
