JAY — Spruce Mountain High School has scheduled the following events for the week of Oct. 27- Nov. 2.

College visits:

Representatives from the following colleges will be at the school to meet with interested seniors:

Thursday, Oct. 30: Washington County Community College

Monday, Nov. 3: Husson University

Project Graduation meeting:

Planning meeting Monday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m. in the school library. All parents of senior students are encouraged to attend.

Photography class:

Ken Landry is offering a photography class free of charge to anyone who is interested. It will be held every Monday night from 6 to 8 p.m. If interested, call Ken at 897-4336 ext. 228.

Europe meeting:

There will be a meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the library for all people who have already signed up to travel to Europe on April 2015.

Blood drive:

There will be a blood drive on Thursday, Oct. 30, sponsored by Jobs for Maine Graduates and the National Honor Society. Contact Barbara Jewett if interested in donating. 897-4336 ext 242.

Athletics:

Monday, Oct. 27: JV football vs Leavitt; home; 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 28: Varsity field hockey semi-final playoff game; at Leavitt; 3:30 p.m.
