I support Alfreda Fournier for Androscoggin County commissioner, District 5. She is uniquely qualified to represent Androscoggin County.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in general elementary and learning disabilities at the University of Southern Maine, and her master’s degree in regular/special education administration and superintendency.
She has worked as director of Child Development Services for Androscoggin County; elementary principal; special ed director and teacher. She has dealt with difficult issues, personal and budgetary items, and made prudent, fiscally-responsible decisions.
Presently, she is the Women Work and Community ambassador; a member of the Chamber of Commerce; Edward Little High School Steering Committee; Auburn Schools Strategic Group; Land Lab volunteer; and an adult/child advocate.
As citizens make their choices at the polls they should keep in mind that Alfreda Fournier’s thoughtful ideas and solutions will benefit all of Androscoggin County.
I am voting for her on Nov. 4.
Mary Roussel, Auburn
