Should workers be forced to pay union dues just to keep their jobs? In Maine, the answer is yes. Maine is one of only 26 states that does not allow workers a choice of whether or not to join a union. Voters need to send to Augusta representatives who support “right to work” legislation.

What is wrong with giving Maine workers the choice? The 24 states that have “right to work” laws are far outpacing others in economic, population and job growth.

Unfortunately John Cleveland and his Democratic friends have received more than $300,000 from out-of-state union bosses to buy votes. It’s a vicious, corrupt circle — vote with union bosses and get union donations.

It is time for a change.

Eric Brakey supports Maine workers. It is their choice. Mainers need honesty and transparency in Augusta.

That is just one more reason I am supporting Eric Brakey for the Maine Senate.
