Lewiston Police Lt. Herve Gendreau, an official of the Police Athletic League said today that the recording recently released by the PAL organization has received a good rating in a national magazine. The record, made by the Royal Knights, a local rock-n-roll group, includes two tunes. One of the numbers, entitled “Forever Little Girl,” received a B-plus rating. On the flip side of the record, the tune “Knight-Mare,” received a B rating. The record was cut on the Fireball label, a name adopted by the PAL. Lt. Gendreau reported that more than 1,000 records have been sold in the local area, with sales all over New England. The rating it has received in the large-circulation magazine, he said may well result in nationwide sales. So far, sales have been limited to the New England states.
