LEWISTON — Brann & Isaacson, 184 Main St., Lewiston, announced that Michael Carey has joined the firm as its newest associate, with a practice devoted to regulatory and administrative proceedings (including trademark and state tax issues), state and local taxation of information technology and telecommunications services and civil litigation.
Before joining the firm, Carey served four terms in the Maine Legislature, where he served on the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee, the Transportation Committee, the Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee, the Special Committee for Maine’s Energy Future and the Special Committee for Regulatory Reform. He has also worked for a national information technology consulting company and a local real estate developer.
Brann & Isaacson has offices in Lewiston and Portland.
