BATH — The Chocolate Church Art Gallery will host the Pastel Painters of Maine Holiday Members Show. The opening reception will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15. The exhibit will be displayed until Dec. 31.

The PPOM Holiday Members Show exhibits pieces from 50 artists in the art gallery at 804 Washington Street. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Friday-Saturday from noon-4 p.m. For special holiday hours, call 207-442-8455.

Established in 1999, PPOM promotes public awareness of pastels and creates a network for local and regional artists. The organization also promotes art and art education for youth. They offer a scholarship to a high school senior pursuing art, as well as a youth education program. This year’s scholarship was presented to Michaela Courtney, a senior at Thornton Academy.

The event and exhibition are open to the public and there is no admission fee. For more information, visit www.pastelpaintersofmaine.com.
