RANGELEY — Thanks to many sponsors and volunteers, the Rangeley Lakes Logging Museum achieved the most successful Apple Harvest Festival fundraiser ever. Festival guests seemed to certainly enjoy a fun-filled, delicious food-filled, vendor-filled day despite the occasional drizzly weather, and apples were certainly aplenty.

Nearly $1,000 was raised on the raffle of donated items.

Winners are as follows: owl carving won by the Lounsbury family; owl/duck bird house won by Claudia Gardner; insulated beverage set won by Marie Sutherland; photo of sunset over Mooselookmeguntic Lake won by June Stokes; pink camo hoodie won by Anne Crump; Burton stove won by Barb Sykes; cardinal quilt won by Betsy Noyes Smith; an “instant hot shower” won by Charlotte Simpson; wooden carrier/hood won by Judy Sanders; bluebird house won by Sue MacPhee; 2 day ski passes won by Sue Gartzke; autumn quilt won by Paul Packard; and wooden gnome house won by Jeanne (no last name).
