AUBURN — The city of Auburn and the Solid Waste and Recycling Committee have scheduled a public information session to discuss the future of solid waste and recycling in Auburn.
The meeting will be held 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, at Auburn City Hall, City Council Chambers.
Over the past several months, the Auburn Solid Waste and Recycling Committee and staff have been analyzing the city’s solid waste and recycling programs in an effort to improve the current services offered to residents.
The committee and staff will share the results of the research and data analysis on multiple options to include an automated collection system, weekly recycling collection and “Pay As You Throw” options.
