LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host a seminar, Preparing for Workplace Violence, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Check-in and a light breakfast will be available beginning at 8 a.m. Quentin Chapman of Corporate Intelligence Inc. will be the speaker.
The seminar will take a close look at mitigation, preparedness and response to violent situations inside or out of the workplace and schools. It will also look at a straight look at emergency action planning and how it affects employees, staff and students’ ability to make urgent, rapid decisions during a crisis, minimizing damage and loss to life and property.
