Nomination papers will be available as of December 15 at the Orono Town Office for the March 10, 2015 municipal election.
There are three terms opening on the town council. The terms of Lianne Harris, Thomas Perry and Judith Sullivan are expiring. There also are two three-year terms on RSU 26’s Board of Directors. The terms of are expiring.
The deadline for filing papers is on or before 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015. At least 25, but no more than 100 signatures of Orono voters are required to have a name placed on the ballot.
