WINDHAM — A Maine school district has released all of its students as police investigate an emailed threat.

Windham police say two different Regional School Unit 14 school officials received separate threatening emails Monday at the start of the day.

Student in all RSU 14 schools were released Monday morning to ensure their safety. The district serves Windham and Raymond.

Windham Police Lt. Jim Boudreau says his department has enlisted the Maine Computer Crimes Task Force in an investigation to attempt to determine the source of the emails. The emails were different and came from different sources.

He says no details will be released until the investigation is concluded.
