NORWAY — Oxford Hills SCORE, in conjunction with the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce, will present a free program and discussion, “Managing Employees — Best Practices.”
The program will be presented from 8 to 9 a.m. on Thursday Jan. 22, at the Norway Town Office, 19 Danforth St., Norway.
Topics to be discussed will include hiring and retaining quality employees, guiding and directing employees, motivating high-performance people with a customer service focus, performance evaluation and feedback, compensation decisions and complying with employment laws and payroll requirements.
Presenter at the program will be Erika Douglass, director of Human Resources at Maine Machine Products Co. and Hoppe Technologies.
