The Easy Happy Show is the invention of well-known Hallowell-based musicians Katie Daggett and Marcia Gallagher. They have teamed up for a double dose of musical fun. Come listen, laugh and sing along. These two women’s natural chemistry and delicious harmonies will ease you into happiness. They dish up songs from their years in the music business while keeping you entertained with their light-hearted banter. Gallagher’s love of jazz, combined with Daggett’s strong folk influence complement each other in a way that will leave you tapping your toes and smiling.

Daggett and Gallagher met as students in the University of Maine at Augusta music program but got together years later due to the suggestions of mutual friends, and found that they shared a love of the same classic standards.

“There’s a little of everything in the show, songs that we’ve both loved over the years,” Daggett said. “We’ll go from Patsy Cline, to Joni Mitchell to Cole Porter. It’s been really fun for us. We’ll do a jazz theme, sing a cappella together — it’s always a little bit different when we perform together.”
