MADISON — The Madison Business Alliance, in conjunction with the Maine Department of Labor and Kennebec Valley Community Action Program, will host the Madison Area Job Fair from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at Madison Junior High School, 205 Main St.

More than 30 businesses from Madison, Anson, Skowhegan and surrounding towns are signed up to participate in the job fair. They include: @ Work Personnel, Arcadia New England, Assistance Plus, Backyard Farms, Bob’s Cash Fuel, Care and Comfort, Catholic Charities Maine, Cousineau Wood Products of Maine LLC.

Also, Crisis and Counseling Centers, Crossway LLC, Genesis Healthcare Cedar Ridge, Genesis Healthcare Sandy River, Hearth and Home Realty, Home Care of Maine, Home Depot, Integrated Sales Solutions, Kennebec Behavioral Health.

Also, Kennebec Valley Community College, MAC Residential Services, Madison/Skowhegan Fire Department, Maine Behavioral Health Organization, Maine Staffing Group, Manpower Maine, Maplecrest Rehabilitation and Living Center.

Also, MCD Communities, NAMI Maine, National Able Network, Penobscot Job Corps, Skills Inc., Small Business Administration, Springborn Staffing Services, T-Mobile, University of Maine at Augusta and Wal-Mart.

To assist job seekers in getting the most from attending the fair, MBA will host a workshop on how to effectively network and stand out. It is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, at 52 Main St. This workshop is free and open to any job seeker who wants to gain an edge when meeting potential employers face to face.
