BETHEL — The wedding of Brittany Rae Gendron and Sean Michael McCue was held Sept. 27 outside the Grand Summit Hotel and Resort at Sunday River, overlooking the mountains.
Mrs. McCue is the daughter of Burt Gendron of Sabattus and Diane Gendron of Auburn. Mr. McCue is the son of the late Robert McCue and Mary McCue of Waltham, Mass.
The bride wore a champagne gown with sweetheart embellished bodice with beaded appliques and A-line skirt. She carried a bouquet of yellow dahlias, white hydrangea, yellow roses, craspedia and baby’s breath.
Heidi Kelly, best friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids and close friends and family were May LeBlanc, Chelsea Beatty, Leah Dozeman, Ashley Morissette, Sally Roper and Jen Doustou. Flower girl was Lola Roper, niece.
Performing the duties of best man was brother of the bridegroom, Matt McCue. Ushers were Rick LeBlanc, Derek Gendron, Keith Crane, Justin Nylen, also close friends and family. Ring bearers were Reagan Gendron and Evan McCue, nephews.
A formal reception followed inside the Grand Summit Hotel, after which the couple traveled and honeymooned in Hawaii. They reside in Wilmington, Mass.
The bride is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College of Maine and received a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, Mass.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington where he received a bachelor’s degree in business. He is president of McCue’s Taxi in Watertown, Mass.
