MONMOUTH — Car crash? Fire? No — just the snow causing more problems for weary travelers.

A section of Route 202 was closed on Wednesday after a truck driver got his rig stuck at around 3:15 p.m. while attempting to turn around.

It took a heavy wrecker to get the tractor-trailer righted again.

Police rerouted traffic along Route 132 and Back Street, causing traffic snarls on the roadways — as well as plenty of speculation. Several motorists posted alerts on social media, guessing that the road closure had been caused by a traffic accident or house fire.

Police said the roadway remained closed for just over an hour before the tractor-trailer was removed.
