AUBURN — Raymond Charles Cook, 67, passed away peacefully with his family on Wednesday, Feb. 11. Ray was the best friend, father, brother and husband anyone could hope for.

A graduate of Lewiston High School and the University of Hartford, Ray spent his life working to improve the lives of children, teenagers, families and other less fortunate members of the Lewiston and Maine communities, living with a vibrant and hopeful empathy that he passed on to everyone in his life.

Ray loved fishing, long walks through the woods with his rifle (or, as he liked to call it, “hunting”) and telling stories, but few things made him happier than the chance to hold a baby and make it smile.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Cook; his children, Josh, Sarah and Nathan; his siblings, John and Linda Cook, Linda and Dan Hall, and Pauline and Jerry Biron; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Condolences can be sent to Beth Cook, 126 Bradbury Road, Lewiston, ME 04240 or www.FuneralAlternatives.net.
