The Funky Divas of Gospel will perform at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 22, at St. Kieran Center for the Arts, 155 Emery St., Berlin.  The group was was formed nearly 20 years ago on the seacoast of New Hampshire and is currently a collaboration of three vocalists and a four-piece band comprised of guitar, bass, keys and drums. The group’s purpose is to share great music. The spirit that flows through this gospel-rock-soul-based show goes back to the roots of the music itself.  The music is hard-rockin’ and reflective and has been known to cause toe-tapping and hand-clapping. It has moved audiences to their feet and into the aisles to dance. Tickets are available at the door, and are $15 for adults and $10 for minors and on line (which includes a small service fee) at www.stkieranarts.org for this and other upcoming events.
