AUBURN — Firefighters made quick work of a roof fire Friday at Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers on Wright’s Landing near the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport.
Early reports were that a rooftop heating unit had caught fire at about 3 p.m. Auburn firefighters called for help from Lewiston, but within minutes, the fire was under control.
About a half-hour after the initial call, the Lewiston firefighters were released from the scene. Ten minutes after that, Auburn firefighters started packing up to clear the area.
