1921 – 2015

RICHMOND, Va. — Aurore E. Provencher passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, at the home of her daughter in Richmond, Va., after a period of declining health.

She was born in Berlin, N.H., on Nov. 26, 1921, a daughter of Robert and Emelda (Bourassa) Hebert. She resided in Jay.

Aurore was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by her family.

She leaves behind her son, Armand and wife, Corinne Provencher; her daughters, Suzanne and husband, Kenneth Charest, of Milford, N.H., and Jeanne Provencher and husband, Mike Brown, of Richmond, Va.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; as well as two sisters, Lauretta Hebert and Helen Buote of Jay; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Adrien Provencher; siblings, MaryJane Pomerleau, Elizabeth Litalien, Rebecca Hebert, Gloria Fournier and Joe, Robert, Laurier and Armand Hebert; and a daughter-in-law, Louise Provencher.
