LEWISTON — Community members are invited to participate in a free French sing-along session at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 20, at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College. It will be part of the many Francophonie Week events and celebrations happening in the community that week.
All are welcome to join in the fun. “It’s okay if people are not fluent in French or don’t know all the words. We provide song books and ‘joie de vivre’ to go with it,” said sing-along regular Mary LeClerc.
This month’s song session will take place in Room 170 at the college, which is at 51 Westminster St..
Admission is free to all. More information is available by calling Jacynthe Jacques at 576-4109.
