LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Lewiston Memorial Armory on March 12 were:
Connie St. Pierre and Val Asselin, first; Dick Laplante and Aaron Burke, second; Don Oliver and Gil Cote, third; Dwight Webb and Roger Labbe, fourth; Roland Bosse and Norm Bissonnette, fifth.

Marine Corps League meeting set
LEWISTON — Marine Corps League Detachment 810 will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. Use the door to the right, with the ramp.
All Marines are welcome. The group meets the last Thursday of the month, except in November and December.

Sabattus Seniors to meet April 2
SABATTUS — Sabattus Seniors will met Thursday, April 2.
The meal is ham with all the fixings. RSVP by calling Pauline at 375-4037 to sign up or cancel by March 26.
At the last meeting it was voted to delete a section of the bylaws that makes people over 80 years of age honorary members. Now, all members will pay dues, which will be $3 starting for 2016.

Methodist church bean supper March 28
AUBURN — The United Methodist Church will host a bean supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the church, 439 Park Ave.
The menu includes baked beans, casseroles, potato salad, hot dogs, cole slaw, breads, beverage and pie. The cost is $7. Entertainment will be provided by the Park Street Pickers.
Congregational church hosting supper
AUBURN — A baked bean supper will be served from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Sixth Street Congregational Church, 109 Sixth St.
The menu includes two kinds of beans, brown bread, cole slaw, hot dogs, American chop suey, desserts and beverage. The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 5 to 12, free for children under 5. All are welcome.
Baked bean supper hosted in Gray
GRAY — A baked bean supper will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at First Congregational Church, Route 115.
The meal includes casseroles, salads, homemade breads and desserts. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12.

Spaghetti and bean supper at Pownal church
POWNAL — The North Pownal United Methodist Church, 851 Lawrence Road, will hold a public baked bean and spaghetti supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 28.
There will be three kinds of beans, spaghetti with meat sauce, potato salad, cole slaw, biscuits and brown bread, pickled beets and homemade pies. Tickets are adults $8, children 4 to 12 years $3, and free for 3 yeas and under.
The next supper will be May 2.

Baseball league accepting registrations
BRUNSWICK — Maine Woods 45 Baseball League is accepting players over 45 years old.
Games will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays, March 28 and April 4 and 11, at Coastal Performance Training Center, 14 Thomas Point Road. All skill levels are welcome. Admission is free.

LISBON — A home-baked bean and ham supper will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the United Methodist Church, 14 School St. Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for ages 6 to12 and free for 5 and under.
The meal is hosted by the Methodist Women.
Country show and dance set at Hallowell
LITCHFIELD — A benefit country show and dance for “Jim G” Guilmet will be held at noon Sunday, March 29, at the Litchfield Sportsman Club on Hollowell Road.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Entertainers will perform throughout the afternoon. Raffles, a 50/50 drawing and food bar are also planned. Donation at the door is $5. All proceeds to help defray medical expenses.

Lisbon Rec hosting D.C., Gettysburg trip
LISBON — The Lisbon Recreation Department is hosting a bus trip to Washington, D.C. and Gettysburg, Pa., this fall.
The excursion is planned for Sept. 24-29 and includes five nights, five breakfasts and three dinners. Sites visited will include the U.S. Capitol, the White House, the National Archives, Arlington National Cemetery, Tomb of the Unknowns, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and the Smithsonian. Stops on the return trip will include the Gettysburg Visitors Center and a guided tour of the Gettysburg battlefield.
The price for this trip is $539 double occupancy. A $75 per person deposit is due upon signing up. The balance is due by July 17. This trip is selling out quickly.
