LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Cecile R. Verreault was celebrated by Monsignor Marc Caron Wednesday, March 18, at Holy Cross Church of the Prince of Peace Parish. following prayers at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home.

At the beginning of Mass, Cecile’s grandson, Joseph Cocciardi, placed his grandmother’s bronze crucifix on her casket in tribute to her faith.

During Mass, Cecile’s granddaughter, Samantha Ricker, proclaimed a reading from the New Testament. The Prayer of the Faithful was recited by grandson, Joseph Cocciardi, the offertory gifts were brought to the altar by grandchildren, Thomas Cocciardi and Ariel Turner. Words of remembrance were shared by grandson, Shawn Ricker, and son-in-law, Steve Cocciardi.

Following a funeral procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, Monsignor Caron recited committal prayers. The pallbearers were Shawn Ricker, Joseph and Thomas Cocciardi, Michael Zibley, Kevin Blazer and Gerald McCrillis.

At the conclusion of services, all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Arrangements by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
