1932 – 2015

AUBURN — Paul R. Lessard, 83, of Lewiston died peacefully on Thursday, March 19, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin with his family by his side following a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston on Feb. 20, 1932, the son of the late Lionel and Antoinette (Verreault) Lessard and had been a resident of this community all of his life.

He married the former Monique Bolduc on April 27, 1957. She died on May 25, 2003.

For many years, Paul and Monique owned and operated Paul Lessard & Son Inc., a commercial painting and drywall business.

Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Lewiston.

He is survived by two daughters, Tina Lambert and Cindy Tuttle, both of Lewiston; a sister, Jeanne Lessard of Leeds; four grandchildren, Justin St. Cyr and his fiancée, Alyssa Hinkley, Kimberly St. Cyr, Sierra Tuttle and Sage Tuttle, all of Lewiston; four great-grandchildren, Ryker St. Cyr, Brandon Le, Michael Le and Brayden St. Cyr, all of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers and by two sisters.
