1982 – 2015

OTISFIELD — Sean A. Beaudet, 32, passed away Saturday, March 14, at Flagler Hospital, St. Augustine, Fla., after an accidental drowning.

He was born on July 15, 1982, in Lewiston, the son of Tarain and Rhonda (Maschino) Beaudet. Sean lived and grew up in Otisfield, attending Oxford Hills High School.

He always had a love for the ocean and attended the University of New England in Biddeford, obtaining his bachelor’s degree in marine science.

Sean enjoyed the outdoors, and as a child, spent a lot of time camping, hiking and going to the ocean with his family. He loved to hunt and fish with his dad and brothers. His favorite activities were cooking, gardening and sitting around the campfire with family and friends. He dreamed of owning a farm one day.

He was a loving and giving person, a big man with a big heart. Many people’s lives were touched by Sean’s humor and his loving spirit. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Sean is survived by his parents, Tarain and Rhonda of Otisfield; his significant other, Cheryl Riihimaki of Otisfield; his brothers, Justin and Nicholas, both of Otisfield; his nephews, Zachary, Joseph and Roarke of Otisfield; grandparents, Judi and Richard Henry of Oxford, and Rita Beaudet of Poland; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, William Maschino; paternal grandfather, Charles Beaudet; nephew, Dominic Beaudet; his aunt, Lisa Beaudet; and two cousins, Blake McCurry and Joshua Maschino.
