RUMFORD — The Board of Selectmen on Monday will continue discussing the Charter Commission’s work.

The board will meet at 6 p.m. April 6 at the Rumford Falls Auditorium.

The nine-member Charter Commission, chaired by Christopher Brennick, was formed in the fall of 2013 to review the 1951 document and recommend changes. In November 2014, the commission asked selectmen for an extension to finish its work and were given until February.

The revisions were reviewed by town attorney Jennifer Kreckel and will be discussed at Monday’s board meeting.

Selectmen will also hear an update from River Valley Growth Council member Jim Rinaldo on the Community Development Block Grant Committee.
