LEWISTON — La Rencontre will host popular guitarist and singer Barry Wood at the monthly gathering and luncheon at the Franco Center, 46 Cedar St., Lewiston.

The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 9, in the performance hall. Doors will open at 10 a.m. The cost is $8.

Davinci’s Restaurant will serve lunch. Following the meal, Wood, of Jay, will entertain patrons. Wood performs a mix of country, gospel, a little classic rock, and some old classic pop standards.
