TEMPLE — Temple Historical Society will present a program by Mary Quinn Doyle, author of “Unique Maine Farms,” from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at the Temple Town Hall on Rt. 43.

Doyle features several Franklin County farms in her collection including the Koviashuvik Local Living School in Temple. Her talk, illustrated with a slideshow, will focus on the value of small farms to Maine’s culture and economy. Discussion will follow.

Doyle will have copies of her book for sale. There is no charge for the program, but donations are welcome. FMI: Contact Jean Mitchell at 778-2462.
