1955 – 2015
LEWISTON — Margaret A. “Peggy” Staley, 59, of Norway, passed away Tuesday, April 7, at Central Maine Medical Center.
Peggy was born in Norway on Nov. 5, 1955, the daughter of Robert “Bob” and Maryann (Pratt) Roderick. She attended schools in Oxford and graduated from Oxford Hills High School.
In previous years, Peggy had worked at Robinson Manufacturing Co. in Oxford. She later worked in the floral business with Liz Goodwin and her very good friend, Jayne Wilner.
Most recently, Peggy had worked in food service at Fair Street Variety and Amato’s sandwich shop. In addition, for 10 years, she had worked at the Fryeburg Fair in the security kitchen. She also enjoyed making candles and operated a candle business out of her home.
Peggy will be remembered for her big personality. She was a loving and caring person, who loved to make people laugh.
She married Frank Staley on Dec. 31, 1997.
She leaves behind her husband of Norway; her son, Zach Haines of Windham; her parents of Oxford; her brother, Steve Roderick and his wife, Sandy, of Oxford; and two nieces, Sara Roderick of Norway and Sonya Roderick of Oxford.
