Season outlook: Eliot co-coached the Rebels a year ago with longtime skipper Bob Remington, who retired prior to this season. The new coach is eager to see how much last year’s young team will improve. Josh Eliot and Westleigh will carry much of the pitching load, with most of the Rebels’ graduation losses coming in that area. Telstar’ numbers are up significantly, allowing for a JV team and giving a large freshman class an opportunity to get game experience. The future appears bright for a program with decorated past.
