‘Abundant Life’ sermon at First Universalist Church

PARIS — The First Universalist Church will have an “Abundant Life” worship service led by Silver Moore-Leamon at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 26, on Pine Street.

Music will be under the direction of Donna Hurd, and Sunday School will be under the direction of Renee Wales. Coffee and fellowship will follow the worship service, and all are welcome. Childcare is available and the First Universalist Church is available.

East Auburn Baptist Church participating in National Day of Prayer

AUBURN — The East Auburn Baptist Church will hold services for the National Day of Prayer from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, May 7.

The keynote speaker is the Rev. Tim Howard, who will speak and lead in corporate prayer from 6 to 7 p.m.

The church invites anyone who would like to pray to attend the event. Events include a self-guided prayer walk for adults and children; tables displayed with information; prayer for the seven centers of power, church, government, military, education, media, family and business; a prayer tent; the live broadcast of the National Day of Prayer from Washington, D.C., from 9 a.m. to noon with rebroadcast.

Grace Fellowship Church open for National day of Prayer

OXFORD — Grace Fellowship Church will open its doors for the National Day of Prayer from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at 29 Poplar St. in Oxford.

The church is open to anyone who would like to pray. Prayers will lift the country, the leaders and the military. Fellowship and light refreshments will be held in the lower level.

Prince of Peace Parish to hold “God, Are You Online?”

LEWISTON — Prince of Peace Parish will hold the 2015 Parish Mission “God, Are You Online?” under the direction of the Rev. Bill Garrott at 6:30 p.m. from Sunday, May 10, to Tuesday, May 12, at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St., Lewiston.

First Universalist holding Music Sunday service

WEST PARIS — The First Universalist Church of West Pars will hold Music Sunday, a worship service at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 24.

The service, “Let It Be — The Power of Music,” will celebrate the gift of music with playing, singing and reflection on its personal and spiritual connection.
