* At 12:41 a.m. May 4, a deputy, Maine State Police and Bridgton police officers assisted Fryeburg police with setting up a perimeter at Portland Street in Fryeburg while a state police dog tracked a man that fled after a vehicle stop. The man was wanted on an $1,100 burglary warrant out of Bridgton.

* At 10:04 p.m. on May 3, deputies responded to Dirigo Elementary School on Auburn Road/Route 108 in Peru for an alarm sounding. While deputies checked the building, an unsecured door was located and a search of the building was made. However, there were no signs of criminal activity observed.

* At 7:48 p.m. May 3, a deputy responded to a Buckfield residence on Streaked Mountain Road after a woman complained that she was being threatened by her ex-boyfriend’s friend who lived in Litchfield. The deputy asked state police to try to contact the ex-boyfriend. After doing so, state police said the ex-boyfriend reported harassment as well. Both parties were warned to stop the harassing conduct.

* At 10:26 a.m. May 3, a deputy responded to a Rennie Lane address in Brownfield after a neighbor called the resident to report seeing light from a flashlight around their vehicle at about 2 a.m. May 3. The deputy found no damage to the vehicle, and reminded people to lock their vehicles at night because unlocked vehicles with keys in the ignition were being stolen in the area.
