Plant sale set for May 9 in Hartford

HARTFORD — The J&O Irish Museum will host a plant sale form 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, on Main Street.

Plants for sale will include bulbs, bushes, vegetables, seeds and assorted flowers. There will be raffles, a silent auction and refreshments.

Daughters of Isabella to celebrate 85th anniversary

ANDOVER — St. Timothy’s Circle No. 504, Daughters of Isabella, will celebrate their 85th anniversary with a dinner Tuesday, May 12, at the Little Red Hen in Andover. Social hour will start at 5 p.m. and the buffet dinner at 6 p.m.

Bethel Senior Citizens Club to meet

BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the Bethel Alliance Church, across from Telstar High School, for their meeting and dinner.

There will be a pot luck meal, and members will bring a dish to share. A donation of $3 is suggested for the church.
