LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host a free Chamber Brown Bag Discussion, “Writing a Press Release,” from noon to 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20. Presenters will be Mark Mogensen and Kathryn Skelton of the Sun Journal.
Many organizations struggle with how to get the word out about what they do. Even when they do incredible work, no one seems to notice. The right news release can increase publicity for your organization and that publicity can increase your effectiveness and even increase sales. But how can you get your news release noticed? Mogensen and Skelton will share tips for writing news releases that will be utilized by local media and generate positive publicity.
