AUBURN — Crews from the Auburn Water District will close the intersection of Broad and South Main streets Wednesday night into Thursday morning to replace a water main.
District engineer Sid Hazelton said the aging pipe needs to be replaced before a city paving project scheduled this summer.
The intersection will be closed from 7 p.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Thursday. Traffic will be detoured. Water service to New Auburn should not be affected.
