AUBURN — Marcella M. Pelletier, 80, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon at Clover Manor in Auburn with her family by her side.

She was born in Van Buren on Sept. 17, 1934, the daughter of the late Come and Ida Cyr. She spent her early childhood in the Van Buren area before moving to Lewiston when she was 9 years old. Marcella dedicated most of her life to taking care of and tending to her family and home. She was a co-owner of Modern Knitting Studio from 1980 to 1984. One of the things she enjoyed and cherished most was making and donating many knit hats, socks and mittens to Catholic Charities. She will also be remembered for her love of gardening, painting, making stained glass and spending quality time with her family.

Marcella is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Roland of Lewiston; her children, Diane Danforth and her husband, Wayne, of Ripley, Daniel Pelletier and his wife, Joan, of Lewiston, Michael Pelletier and his wife, Sonia, of Livermore, and Rachel Haines and her husband, James, of Auburn.
