1991 – 2015

SANTIAGO, Dominican Republic — Tonya Chanel Davis, 23, of Santiago, Dominican Republic, died Sunday, Feb. 22, in Santiago, due to complications from an infection.

She was born in Lewiston on June 10, 1991, the daughter of Timothy Charles Davis and Cheryl Libby-Davis.

Tonya was very caring; she made everyone smile and always had a smile on her face. Tonya loved to bake and loved all animals, but particularly cats. She loved music and loved life. Tonya touched everyone’s life she encountered. Her smile alone lit up the world around her.

There are no words to express our sorrow over the loss of our Tonya.

Thanks to all her friends and family in the Dominican Republic, whose love and support will never be forgotten.

Survivors are both parents; one sister, Carrie-Lynne Davis; and one brother, Adam Everett Libby. Tonya was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends; and her fiance, Marcelo Tavarez.
