Andy Valley Gymnastics boys performed well recently at the Maine State Gymnastics Championships in Lewiston.

The Level 4 boys’ team finished third. In the 6-year-old age group, Cole Larrabee placed second in the all- around (AA), pommel horse (PH) and vault (V) and parallel bars ({PB). He also won floor exercise, placed third on high bar and fourth on rings. In the 7 – and 8-year-old division, Nolan Keene placed second in the AA, PH and R. He finished first in vault and third on FX and HB. Aiden St. George placed four in AA and R, second in FX and PB and third in PH and V.

The Level 5 boys team finished first. In the 9- and 10-years-old  division, Adam Bilodeau won AA, FX, PH and PB. He also finished second on R and third on V and HB. Sam Maunsell Finished second in AA, PH, V, PB and HB, third on R and fifth on FX. Erik Jones placed third in AA, FX, PH, PB and HB. He also won V and placed fifth on R. In the 7 and 8 age group, Gibson Dozois placed third in the AA, R, PB and HB and first on V. Braydon Letourneau placed fourth in AA, PH, PB and HB, second on FX and third on V.

In Level 6, Ethan Littel finished second in AA, FX and HB. He also won V and PB and placed third on PH. With their performance, Littel, Bilodeau, Maunsell and Jones qualified for the New England Championships in Massachusetts

Girls from Andy Valley Gymnastics performed well recently at the State Championships held in Waterville.

The Level 2 girls finished second as a team. Individually, Maija Bolduc placed second in the All Around and Uneven Bars. She also placed first on Balance Beam, third on Vault and sixth on Floor Exercise. Shelby Littel finished third in AA, first on V and FX and fifth on UB. Summer Hoffman placed fifth in AA, V and BB and second on FX.

In Level 3, Halie Vachon placed fifth on V and eight on BB. Ava Lepage finished fifth on UB and eighth on V. Jade Crowell placed fifth on BB while Sophia Martinez placed ninth on V.

In the Level 4 (9 year old age division), Aiyana Chartier, finished fourth on FX and UB and fifth on BB. Loreesa Potvin placed sixth on FX and seventh on BB. Emilie Wilson placed seventh on V. In the 11+ age group, Maisy Bolduc finished third in AA and FX. She also placed second on V and fourth on UB and BB. Kaylee Bellmore finished 6th on V and UB while Adrienne St. Onge also competed well.

The Level 5 team finished third while Cecilia Miller won the AA in the 11-year-old age group. She also won BB and finished second on V, UB and FX. Acadia Rugullies placed third in AA and V, and fourth on UB and FX. Amabelle Klatsky placed fourth in AA, third on UB and fourth on V. In the 12+ age group, Haley Rustad placed third in AA and FX, and second on BB. Capella Russo finished fifthon V and FX in the 10-year-old division.

The Level 6th team finished second. In the 12-13 age group, Katrina Bolduc placed second in AA, V and BB and third on FX. In the 14 + division, Emma Allen finished second in AA and FX while Lily Hoffman placed third on V and Jessica Bickford finished second on BB.

In Level 7, Madison Porter won BB and placed 4th on FX.

In Level 8, Amber Shelley won AA, BB and FX. She also placed fourth on UB and fifth on V.

In the Xcel Silver division, Madison Cote placed second in the AA. She also placed first on FX and third on BB. Lilly Wilson finished third in AA and second on FX. In the Platinum division Jaylyn Metevier finished fifth on FX.

In the Gold division (age 8-11), Courtney Cabral finished sixth in the AA, third on FX and fifth on V. Emily Pagnano finished first on BB and fifth on FX. Sabrina Gayton placed sixth on BB, while Christina Coleman placed fifth on FX and Mallory Haynes-White finished sixth in FX. Arianna Starbird also competed well for the Gold team. In the 14 to 17 age group, Olivia Moulton placed sixth on UB and FX. Melody Gammon won the AA in the Masters division while taking first on V, UB, BB and FX.

With their performances, Amber Shelley qualified for the Region 6 Championships in Rhode Island and Melody Gammon qualified for the Xcel Regional Championships in Mass.
