1949 – 2015
LEWISTON — Joyce Ann Rains, 66, of Lewiston, passed away Sunday, May 24, from complications due to diabetes.
She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 11, 1949, a daughter of the late Burton “Bud” and Ramona (Abbott) Gross. Joyce was the foreign filing coordinator for Hamilton, Brook, Smith & Reynolds in Concord, Mass. She was very proud of her career and spent 27 years there. She loved to travel and spent many happy times in Florida and Alaska, visiting family and friends.
She is survived by her three daughters, Angela Bidoudane and her husband, Radouane, Sarah McAdams and her husband, Kenneth, and Emily Rains. She also leaves behind three grandsons, Omar, Zakariya and Jake; as well as two granddaughters, Crystal and Sophia. She is also survived by a sister, Cynthia Brown; and a former spouse, Earl Rains.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Rebecca and Steve Gross.
