AUBURN — Eric Swanson has been promoted to assistant vice president of claims for personal and commercial lines carrier Patrons Oxford Insurance Company of Auburn.

Swanson has more than 25 years of insurance experience, and has earned the designations of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Claims. He is president-elect of the local Maine Chapter of CPCU.

He is a graduate of the University of Maine.
